1st National Bank blueprints, Clay Center, Kansas

These blueprints show the First National Bank in Clay Center, Kansas. The designs were drawn by Architect Frederick C. Klawiter of St. Paul, Minnesota and the bank was built by A. Moorman and Company Bank Builders. The blueprints show precise detail by providing the viewer different angles, viewpoints, and elevations of the bank.

This patent drawing and description depicts and describes Frank Dove's Aeroplance Stabilizing Mechanism. Dove, a resident of Topeka, Kansas, who worked with Albin Longren, applied for the patent on February 6, 1918, and the patent itself was issued on November 11, 1919. Dove's mechanism provided increased control and helped stabilize airplanes in flight.

These are site plans for the Frontier Historical Park and Old Fort Hays, Hays, Kansas, drawn by Architectural Services Division, Department of Administration, Topeka, Kansas. The site plan was adapted from a plan prepared by Sergeant Ellis, Company A, 18th Infantry, 1889. The plans were drawn as part of a project to recondition existing buildings and the caretaker's facilities. Fort Hays was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
